Plot: Babylon Halloween, 2

The beasts and the vamps all intermingle upon the dance floor and begin a choreographed version of Michael Jackson's Thriller. The audience loses their mind. Applause, curses and cheers rise up from the crowd as the last 'act' of the Halloween party kicks into full gear.
After the beasts and vampires have cleared the stage, the entertainment manager - a man named Frank - grabs the mic on the stage and tries to get everyone's attention. "Well, did everyone have a good time tonight?" He calls out to the cheers and hoops of the audience. "Tonight," Frank continues, "...we had a few contests. Our Backers have phoned in and told us who they have chosen for the three prizes of Sexiest, Most Scariest and Funiest." He pauses a bit to read off from some index cards on who has won what. Beside him, the stripper witches and dancing shot-boys fan out on the stage and hold cauldrons which appear to be the prizes. "And the Backers have decided, that for the Sexiest costume tonight...it's Miss Elvira...queen of the night! Come on up here!"

Elvira crosses her legs and sits back against the bar, then blinks when the wolves and the vampers start to... dance. Feeling the complete idiot for thinking they were real wolves, she's blushing pretty bad when they call out the winner of the sexiest costume. "Huh, I wonder who tha--" Wait. "Are you kidding me?" Looking down to make sure she's still really not falling out of the dress, she goes beet red. "Oh god." Maybe no one will notice her if she slumps down a bit, one hand raised to shield her face.
Frank, standing up on the stage, sends two of the shot-boys into the crowd to 'help' Elvira up out of her chair and up so that she can claim her prize. No doubt that she is exhausted from running through all the guys minds. "Come on folks, make her feel welcome."
Oh no! They found her! Looking left and right, she tries to find an escape route, but no. At least the pale face makeup helps hide some of that blush, right? Casting a 'save me!' look back towards the Knight, Elvia shuffles along between the two gents escorting her to the stage. Should have gone home to raid on the computer. Ventrilo would be less shameful.

After Elvira -finally- makes it onto the stage, one of the dancing shot-boys walks over to her and hands her the large, plastic cauldron as her prize. A quick photo is taken (which seems odd as Babylon usually frowns on people having cameras of any kind) of the winner and her hunk of a prize-holder and the man escorts her off the stage.%R%R"Now...," Frank continues, "...For Funniest Costume. The Backers have decided that Mister Pink Bunny Man," he reads off the cards, "is the winner!" The audience turns and searches for the person named and eventually spots Harvey with his pink fur and rabbit tail. "Come on up here man and claim your prize!"
Harvey blinks as he is singled out and directed to the stage. He hops over, apparently having springs in his legs.
Frank, standing up on the stage, sends two of the witches into the crowd to 'help' Harvey up out of his chair and up so that he can claim his prize. No doubt that he is exhausted from all that...well, you know what bunnys do. "Come on folks, make him feel welcome."

After Harvey spring-hops his way onto the stage, one of the dancing witches walks over to him and hands over the large, plastic cauldron as his prize and bends forward to plant a small kiss upon his little pink nose. Another quick photo is taken of the winner and his two beautiful prize-helpers escorts him off the stage.
"And lastly...," Frank continues, "...the Scariest Costume." He breathes a little heavy - as though this was worrying him. Pulling out a handkerchief he dabs his forehead a bit before finishing his thought. "The Backers have decided that," and he has to pause to lean in to read the words on the card because they don't exactly make sense. "Uh... creepy grandfather guy with the little girl puppet..." He looks around, "Who the hell is that?" Checking the card once more he reads off the last of the card again and adds, "is the winner!" The audience turns and searches for the person named and eventually spots Sebastion with his pink fur and rabbit tail. "Come on up here uh...'man' and claim your prize!"
"Yes Grace, we won." he says softly as he rises, "Tonight, I be Albert Fish my good man." as he chuckles and makes his way to the stage. Before reaching he violently pulls forth the puppet sowed onto his side and rips the head from it. He bites into the stuffing and pulls the cotton out maddening before reliquishining a smile to the Audience. "The name is Sebastion, Frank." as he approaches the stand.

This time there were no escorts that left the stage to help the winner up. Nope. Both the shot boys, including the younger one named 'Never' stand stock-still as though they weren't going to approach the scary winner with a ten-foot pole. Frank, nervously 'urges' the remaining cast members - the four witches and four shot-boys - to gather around Sebastion for the photo. Once complete, Never presents the man with the cauldron and helps walk him off stage since no one else seems willing.
The headless doll lies torn ripped from its body. Sebastion is led away by Never to recieve his prize. A sound comes from the dolls head, "I'll be back." with a chuckle at the end,.
Once the prizes are awarded, Frank vacates the stage and the DJ picks back up with the music to play for another hour to let people filter out and leave the party in their own time and in their own way. The 'stripper witches' circulate around the party now that their job is done. The shot boys are off the clock and are able to go flirt and hang out with whomever they'd like. The beasts and the vampires even make their own fun by posing with several people around the party for candid pictures.

Happy Halloween!
