A map of the new coast line of the world after a 100 meter rise in sea levels. Assuming that this came from melting polar caps - it would be an 80% reduction in ice.
This would be the map that I could use for a post-modern setting. It re-writes the geography enough to make things interesting.
I could also have the 100m rise in sea levels be a temporary thing and then have them recede over the years.

Thomas Book: Fae Typology
The Fae of Thomas Book fall into categories:
1. Pixie: No bigger than a half-foot-tall, they manifest as small balls of light and tend to resemble fireflies when traveling. They will often slip into the form of a toad, sparrow or some similar-sized creature to escape detection. They are chaotic balls of energy and light that can't hold still for a few moments at best and have no ability to remain focused on one thing for long.
They are identified by their butterfly (female) or dragonfly (male) wings.
2. Sprite: Larger than a Pixie, they can reach heights of up to a foot or so. Sprites are tried to their element and will resemble it in some form. Wood Sprites, Water Sprites, etc. They are more attuned to a theme of the elements more so than the Pixies who are energy itself.
3. Wildlings: They are larger than Sprites, usually reaching up to around 3 feet in height. Just as Sprites are more 'evolved' forms of Fae, so too are Wildlings more 'evolved' than Sprites. Wildlings tend to have a seasonal affiliation in that they will be lesser versions of one of the four Courts.
(See also: Bloodthorn)
4. Beast-Men: These are the People of the Courts of the Fae; the Satyrs, Centaurs, Fauns and xxx of the four courts.
(see also: Fae Courts)
5. Fae: The true leaders of the Fae realm.
6. High-Born: The leaders of the Fae.

Thomas Book: Wilds
The Wilds is the realm in the aether controlled by the Fae.
Though it is difficult to conceptualize their realm - the best way to think of it is to imagine the space as an island floating in a sea of nothingness. Around the edge of the island is a high wall of cliffs that protect it from any who would attempt to land upon its shores.
Inside the island and beyond the wall of cliffs is a roughly round valley where the four Courts have claimed dominion over the island.
Each of the Courts control a section of the perimeter like pie wedges.
The closer that you get to the center - the less control any one Court has and so it's essentially neutral land.
At the very center of the Wilds is a large flat plane of grass and at its center is a massive stone table.

Thomas Book: Fae Courts
Frost Giants serve the realm of Winter and Queen Mab.
Fauns (shown here in armor) are a combination of a human torso and goat legs. They serve Aurora's court of Spring.
Centaurs follow the Court of Summer and are generally considered her front-line troops when it comes to defending the borders of her lands.
Satyrs are the followers of Oberton and the Autumn Court.
